VERAfied - Part 1

I just wanted to take a moment to share my new umbrella with you guys because, well, I'm in love with it. Vera Bradley did my school the service of spreading brand ambassadors on our campus so people like me have the opportunity to experience life under umbrellas like this one. I find it so funky, yet modest. I can't wait until it rains again.

Citrus Gidi X Besida

Since Georgia decided to take a break from the fall weather, I did, too. 

If you're wondering why this top is so beautiful and well crafted, that's because it's hand made. Just like all the other vibrant and one of a kind apparel Besida offers in their online boutique! Literally, everything in the store is so beautiful. And when I tried on my Besida crop tops, they fit like a glove. You can tell a lot of love was put behind each design, and that really means a lot to me in a good clothing brand.

My favorite thing about the top is the corset style, lace up back. I can adjust it and tie it anyway I'd like and it just looks so cool. And I also love how dressy of a crop top this is. Normally crop tops are made for more casual ensembles, but this one is the perfect for a pencil or maxi skirt when you're looking to get dressed up.

It feels good wearing something made with an entire heart and soul behind it. If you loved this top, I know you'll love the others I've got to share in the next up and coming posts.

Frida x Carnivour Creates

Although Frida Kahlo was deemed as a surrealist by society, she rejected that label because she said her paintings "reflected her reality more than it did her dreams". Aside from her being a strong, woman artist and figure at the time, it was seeing that quote that initially connected me to Frida and her work for the first time. After watching her one of her depicted biographies in my art appreciation class, I loved her even more (watch the one on Netflix with Salma Hayek!). So I was obviously thrilled to see that there was a Frida-fied tee that was up for grabs on Carnivour Creates. And look how lovely she looks! Blessed to be able to have the opportunity to represent a favorite woman figure of mine, but what's more is I'm able to share he with you guys. My post on The Stares today is dedicated to the life and words of the phenomenal Ms. Frida Kahlo.
