Check Out My Threads - Part 3

Hey Hey Heeyyyy Stares goers, and happy throwback Thursday! And judging by my look today, it's definitely throwback inspired. Thanks to American Threads, it's all laces and leather today on the blog! Let's read Jessica's Handbook on How to Create Your Perfect 90's Inspired Look on the Stares today!

Step 1: Dig up one of your old chokers from middle school (or go out and buy one), and wear it. Always. With everything.

Step 2: Find your nearest artistic venue to channel your inner favorite 90's band and/or boy band. This will be important while personifying your 90's alter ego.

Step 3: Laces, Laces, Laces. It is crucial to have a shirt and/or blouse that can be laced up down the middle or on the sides, like this stellar bodysuit from American Threads. If you do not have an item like this in your wardrobe yet, then you must not be serious of reliving your 90's past life.

Step 4: Return back to your favorite creative venue for your comeback performance after you've finally reunited with your estranged band members after 15 years apart.

Step 5: Think leather. And no, a leather jacket isn't going to suffice. You will need to be brave, dive really deep back in time. I'm talking closer to the 80's here people. You are going to need to find... a leather skirt.

Step 6: Don't forget your hat!

Step 7: Well actually, these shoes aren't 90's inspired. They're just a smashing fit for this ensemble.

Step 8: Repeat steps 1 - 1. And shop American Threads.

Check Out My Threads - Part 2

Who's ready for our second round of "Check Out My Threads"?! I'm loving part two today because I get to show you guys a look I am currently having a love affair with, which is this off the shoulder style of dress that American Threads has all over their store right now. Let's take a closer look on The Stares today.

Why am I so in love with this low cut, off the shoulder neckline style right now? Honestly, I think it's just super sexy and super feminine. Does anyone else find the collar bone, shoulders and back of neck  to be such a beautiful area of the body? While it almost feels really exposing, it's hardly exposing anything at all. It's perfect.

Oh, you know. Just casually sunbathing on this rocky ledge in the middle of campus. Ahhh.

If you're an avid follower of the blog, then you know I am a romper junky. And a romper like this is just perfect for the transitional weather we're experiencing right now with the long sleeves and shorts combo.

Gotta secret. Can you keep it?

These shoes are wonderful for the soul fact that the really high platform is perfect to wear with outfits that show off my legs. Always utilize those really high heels for your leg-showing ensembles ladies (especially my shorter comrades). It's a perfect opportunity to really elongate that body of yours.

Can we all just take a second to praise my photographer and her impeccable eye for a good shot. Wormely. This one's for you. You are truly a magician, bruh.

What are some fall styles that y'all are looking forward to? I'd love to hear some of what the fellas love, too! Me personally, I'm really loving the maroon/oxblood color on just about everything. That color really just does something to me...

Let's shop American Threads. And Take the Stares.
